The incredible shrinking baby

Summer just git teeth number 5 , and 6. I was flipping through her baby book to the page that I can write when she got them and saw the one with her height record. Here is what it looks like:

Actually the one on 1-19 was taken at the WIC office but it looks funny so I wrote WIC in bold letters and circled it so that many years from now I wont look at that and say HUH??????

The cutest thing

At dinner I watch Summer sit in her highchair and put cheerios in her mouth one after another and think "that's the cutest thing". When she sits on the couch and rocks back so she bounces against the cushion and smiles I think "thats the cutest thing". I will lift her up and tickle her tummmy with my head and she laughs, grabs fistfulls of my hair and yanks I think " Ouch. Thats the cutest thing". When she says "na,na,na,na" or " da,da,da,da" or that one syllable happy sound, or when she wiggles all over the place when I am changing her. When she splashes and tries to grab the soap bubbles when Im bathing her. When she is playing with her toes and opens her mouth to take a liitle taste. She IS the cutest thing

Ten Months!

Sitting in church today my husband said to me "she's ten months old today." I was shocked, I'd still been telling people that she was nine months. She is growing so fast,she's got four teeth now , and she grinds them. I'm hoping she will quit that because it makes my face hurt to hear her do it.

She is close to crawling, reaching way out to grab things, and almost doing a faceplant into the carpet. She still hates being on her tummy for more than a few minutes, although she does push herself backwards while there. Most of the time she scootches on her but a little while sitting up its so cute, I think we spoil her by holding her too much and moving her toys closer to her when she reaches for them, I do try to stop myself but i feeel bad when she wants something she can't reach.
